ADHD Boston is a team of uniquely specialized professionals dedicated to improving the quality of life for people with ADHD, or Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder, also referred to as ADD when the hyperactivity component is not prominent. We have made it our mission to understand what ADHD actually means to individuals and their families, not just the list of diagnostic criteria to which most doctors refer.

Mission Statement:

"Our mission is to inform, advise, and optimize the quality of life for adults with ADHD. ADHD Boston provides the most informed, comprehensive and personalized education, information and treatment for patients and their families."

We know that while procrastination is not listed in the official symptom manual, it is a big problem for most people with ADHD. We realize that many people with ADHD are late to most scheduled appointments or events, yet most doctors will not see patients who don’t arrive on time. We are used to the fact that many people forget to request a refill on their prescriptions until they take the last tablet, so we send prescriptions electronically to the pharmacy.

Although we specialize in ADHD, we realize that many people are also coping with depression, anxiety, insomnia, mood swings and other unpleasant symptoms which may or may not be related to their attention and productivity. Because everyone is different, we make sure to assess and treat all challenging symptoms. ADHD is a multidimensional set of traits shared by millions of people around the world, so it is more likely than not that individuals we see and treat will be dealing with a variety of stressful situations requiring adaptive treatment solutions.
